Some words: Proper delicious and flaky. Whizz the flour, salt and butter in food processor then add the wet stuff if you not up for hand rubbing.

Ingredients

250g sifted flour
125g butter, chopped into small pieces
pinch salt
2 egg yolks
60g water

Method

  1. Sift the flour and salt into large bowl
  2. Rub the butter into the flour; try not to warm it up and handle it too much
  3. Add the egg yolks and water and bring it together
  4. Once just smooth, wrap in cling film and put in the fridge until you are ready to use - at least an hour
